Festive Easter Bunnies & Extension Activities

This cute little bunny is quick and easy and a fun decoration for Easter. Make a few of them and attach them to a ribbon or twine for a fun banner to hang up.

Supplies:

  • construction paper
  • wiggly eyes
  • glue
  • scissors
  • cotton ball or pom pom
  • black marker



Directions:

  1. Cut out a circle head and with the same color cut two ears.
  2. Cut the centers of the ears with white and glue them on the ears.
  3. Cut out the pink rosy cheeks.
  4. Using the black construction paper cut out some whiskers.
  5. Start gluing your bunny together by gluing the ears on the back of the head,
  6. Glue on the wiggly eyes and the cotton ball nose. 
  7. Before the nose is dried attach the whiskers (under the nose)
  8. You can curl the whiskers a bit .
  9. Add a mouth with a marker or cut one out of the construction paper you have left.
  10. You can add a magnet to the back to hang on the refrigerator or make a few of them and attach them to a ribbon or twine to make an Easter Bunny banner. 

Enjoy! You can add your won special touch by adding a ribbon to his ear, a button for a nose, or however you want to decorate your bunny.
