Park & Playground Review: Lake Julia Park, Farmington

By Melissa Olsen, Macaroni Kid Parent Ambassador June 4, 2015
Lake Julia Park ~ 5105 187th St W, Farmington
Thanks to Melissa for sharing her review and wonderful photos of this week's featured park. Her kids must be having a blast visiting all these parks!

This park is beautiful! Lake Julia has a bike path circling the lake and wide open spaces.  There is a dock for throwing in a line but when we were there it wasn't accessible due to water.

From a distance, this park just looks like a bunch of metal poles but when you see what kids can do there, it's amazing! It offers older kids lots of opportunity for climbing, jumping and balance. For the younger ones it's a free-for-all jungle gym! For little ones there is also a small play set and a few swings.

In addition to the play equipment, Lake Julia has a basketball court, baseball field, pavilion with tables and an outhouse.

This would be a great spot for a picnic and anyone wanting to teach their kids how to fish!
