πŸ€Kickin' It Irish - O'Shea Irish Dance, March 2 - 17th, 2024

Celebrate Saint Paddy’s Day in true Irish style with Kickin’ It Irish! Kickin’ It Irish is a modern fusion of show-style Irish dance and live Irish music featuring Dublin native and original Riverdance cast member Cormac O’Sé and the O’Shea Irish dancers. The lineup consists of 22 world-class dancers, including regional and national champions, and an international six-piece band. In addition to Cormac O’Sé on accordion, the driving dance band includes Aidín Ní Shé, Midwest Fleadh champion in English and Irish song; Todd Menton, multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of band Boiled in Lead; guitarist Liam Slattery; and Mary Vanorny of Brass Lassie.

Kickin’ It Irish was created in 2013 to feature Championship dancers from O’Shea Irish Dance, to highlight amazing Irish traditional music talent in the Twin Cities, and to expose Minnesotans to the performing arts of Ireland. Kickin’ It Irish has taken the stage every year since 2013 with an incredibly talented and hardworking cast. The show was first presented at the Steppingstone Children’s Theatre. Since then it has been performed at Celtic Junction Arts Center, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Rosemount Central Park, and the Fitzgerald Theatre. After eleven years, several performers have grown up Kickin’ It Irish!

Kickin’ It Irish makes its home in the music rooms and dance studios of the Celtic Junction Arts Center (recognized as the “Best Irish American Center” by IrishCentral’s Creativity and Arts Awards). The venue and educational facility, located in the Midway neighborhood in Saint Paul is home to O’Shea Irish Dance and the Center for Irish Music.

Online sales end at 11:30 pm on the day before the show. If there are seats left at that time, you may purchase admission at the door. We recommend securing tickets ahead of time. If you are in a wheelchair, drop us a line in the NOTE field when purchasing your tickets so we can accommodate you and your party in the best way possible.
