From the Assistant Publisher......

This time of year is always a wondrous time for me with all the family gatherings, the time spent on preparing and making gifts for others. However, it can also be such a stressful time. There is always so much to do and it seems like the weeks and days come up much sooner than we would like them too. Give yourself permission to not stress over the holidays. Take the time instead to enjoy the real reason for the season!

I of course do have my lists going because I am such a planner but I swore to myself that I wasn't going to leave the wrapping to the night before. I ALWAYS have many projects that I am working on that keeps me up late and puts me behind in other things I should be doing. This year I chose to do something less time consuming but still with the same meaning behind the gifts that I am giving. I finished up my decorating this past week-end so another item crossed off my list. I will find time to enjoy the holidays.

This past week-end we went to Cossetta's for dinner and then to Disney on Ice. It was such a magical night. To see the wonder and excitement in the kids' eyes is what it is all about. I also had some time with my husband and we watched a couple movies, we also went to my nephew's hockey game and went to my grandson's hockey. Those 5 year olds are so adorable to watch. I hope you all have had a wonderful week so far!

There are lots of fun holiday events on the calendar so be sure to check it out and the Holiday Gift Guide as well.

Enjoy your week and thanks for reading Macaroni Kid - Farmington, Lakeville, & Apple Valley! We appreciate our readers!
