Parent Education Conference @ Eastview Highschool

So many great Workshops to attend!

This Saturday, November 1st there is a FREE Parent's Conference at Eastview Highschool. This  free event is sponsored by District 196 Community Education and Dakota County Library.

There are so many great workshops to attend. The keynote speaker is Ada Alden,  is a dynamic speaker with over 40 years of experience in parenting. She holds a M.A. and Ed.D. from the University of Minnesota, has authored a book entitled, Parenting on Purpose: Red Yellow Green Framework for Respectful Discipline and has served as adjunct professor and department chair in Child and Family Studies at St. Cloud State University. With her experience you will have the opportunity to gain new parenting skills. Discover the importance of being prepared, being intentional and being present.

Also in addition to this experienced speaker you will choose between other topics for workshops including: Connecting with Your Child with Autism,  Be a Role Model: Health and Fitness for Parents, Sensory Processing and Development in Babies (birth-3), Understanding Your Child’s Anxiety, Fostering Healthy Social Skills, Speaking, Listening, Writing: Teaching Foundational Literacy Skills, Want to Enjoy Parenting? Switch your Child from Mad to Glad,  Discipline: Delivery in the Making, How Children Think, Learn, Love and Sing,  It Takes a Village: Parenting as a Unified Couple, College Financial Aid Planning,  Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Detection and Intervention, What is a Dynamic Student Learning Experience?,  Creative Discipline, Supporting Your Learner: How to Improve Study Skills, The Healthiest Child on the Planet, Celebrate Family - Life - WorkForget about Juggle and Balance.
