From the Assistant Publisher......

This weather has been beyond gorgeous. I have been getting the kids outside as much as possible because I know it will soon not be as easy to enjoy the outdoors once the cold and bitter air hits Minnesota.

This past week-end we took a trip to Wisconsin to watch my daughter's team (The Minnesota Gopher Women's hockey team) play their rival the Wisconsin Badgers. We always make it a little vacation stopping in Wisconsin Dells on the way. We left a day early and enjoyed the time we had in the Dells. The kids LOVE to stop at Buffalo Phill's because a miniature train delivers your food to your table. The train always has kid friendly stuffed animals, figurines, vehicles, bubbles and other items to interest the kids. Of course we couldn't leave without going to Knuckleheads where the kids rode on the roller coaster, the flying airplanes, and the go carts. After turning in all the tickets from the game area we were on the road to Badgerland (Madison, Wisconsin)! I do have to say that the colors of the leaves ere just beautiful. We have been so fortunate to travel this year for hockey during the fall when the leaves are turning. Thank goodness the Gophers won both games but the game on Saturday was won in overtime.

I hope that you are all finding ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Enjoy your week and thanks for reading Macaroni Kid - Farmington, Lakeville, & Apple Valley! We appreciate our readers!
