I hope you all have had a good week. This past week-end for me was spent in Duluth, Minnesota. The drive was simply gorgeous with the beautiiful array of autumn colors! The weather was perfect too. We went to watch the Gopher Women's Hockey team since my daughter plays for them. It was bittersweet because she is a senior and it will be the last trip for Gopher Women's hockey with her on the team.

What made it so wonderful was that my entire immediate family was along as well as my parents. It is so fun to have everyone together supporting my youngest daughter. Here are some of the activities that took place when we weren't watching hockey: My oldest daughter and her husband took their kids to Zoo Boo at the Duluth Zoo, a trip to Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Light House, swimming, shopping, dinner one night at Grizzly's, Fitgers for lunch the following day, of course 2 hockey games with one win and one tie, and walks along the shores of Lake Superior to see the ships coming through the lift bridge, and so much more. What's not to love about Duluth? This week-end the Gopher's take on the Badgers (Border Battle). Good Luck to the Gophers!

It is so hard for me to believe that my youngest is a senior in college but each stage of my kids' lives has been more awesome than the last. I am so blessed to have such a close and loving family. I hope you are all able to find special times together with your families as well. It is these memories that will last a lifetime.

Enjoy your week and thanks for reading Macaroni Kid - Farmington, Lakeville, & Apple Valley! We appreciate our readers!
