Has anyone visited an apple orchard yet this season? With school in session comes the cooler days and it always reminds me of the fun at the local apple orchards, pumpkin patches, the Renaissance Festival, and other fun family friendly events. For those of you who like to take a trip to see the beautiful fall colors, the DNR has a great resource on where to view beautiful colors this autumn.
I hope your kids are enjoying their first few weeks of school and that moms and dads have found some quiet time to enjoy the peace and quiet as the kids are back in school. I just love the moments when they first walk in the door after a day of school. I loved the excitement of the events of the day and of course watch out as they make their way into the kitchen for a snack.
