About: This year's festivities will start with the Farmington Royalty Ambassador Coronation on June 14, followed by Flavors of Farmington on June 15 and then by Beer, Brats & Bingo on the 16.

Lakeville's Pan-O-Prog

About: Panorama of Progress, or PAN-O-PROG as the weeklong festival is commonly known, began largely due from the success of the development of Lakeville’s Airlake Industrial Park. Sensing the future growth of the city, community leaders looked for a way to observe. Since 1967 Lakeville has been celebrating its successes as PAN-O-PROG!
Over 50 celebrations, events and activities take place during the week of July 4. By the masses, residents line up to watch the grand parade, classic car cruise and 4th of July fireworks!
Other impressive events include tournaments, pageants, battle of the bands, cookouts, orchestra in the park, crafts, outdoor dances pet and talent shows, medallion hunt and all varieties of entertainment! There is something for all age groups and food for all tastes. Come join the celebration!

About: This 10-day community summer festival is organized by the all-volunteer Rosemount Leprechaun Days Committee. Essentially the committee aims to set the table with major events and allow community groups and organizations to plan their own events to make the feast even better. Rosemount Leprechaun Days typically includes about 60 separate events that aim to reach all ages and interest levels.

Today, often referred to as the “Great Minnesota Get-Together,” the annual Minnesota State Fair is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. The fair attracts nearly 1.8 million guests annually.
Minnesota Renaissance Festival

About: The Minnesota Renaissance Festival began its journey in September of 1971 on a 22 acre field in Jonathan, MN. More than 25,000 people visited the two weekend grand opening of the festival than named “A Celebration of Nature, Art, and Life!” That celebration has since relocated to Shakopee, MN and has grown to be the largest Renaissance Festival in the United States with an annual attendance of 300,000.
