Area Summer Festivals

It's hard to believe it, but summer is upon us and with it a myriad of summer festivals to enjoy. Keep these great community festivals in mind as you fill your summer calendar. This is just a start to our list (feel free to comment with other favorites you may have). 

Dakota County Fair
August 10-16
Highlights include: carnival, live entertainment, rides, animals, concessions, and so much more.

Lakeville's Pan-O-Prog
June 25 - July 12th
Highlights include: kiddie parade, grand parade, fun fair, grand parade, classic car cruise, baby crawl-a-thon, pedal tractor pull for kids, picnic and puppet show, craft & bake sale, contests & live entertainment

July 17-26
Highlights include: Blarney Stone hunt, 29th Annual Run for the Gold,  Grand Day Parade, Mid-Summer Faire, puppets in the park,

July 22-25
Highlights include: Torchlight Parade, fireworks, sandcastle competition & milk carton boat races, Live Music

Irish Fair of Minnesota
Aug 6-9
Highlights include: cultural displays & market, music & traditional dancing

Twin Cities Polish Festival
Aug 7 - 9
Highlights include: music and dance entertainment, food, polka dance championships, exhibits and all things Polish

Renaissance Festival
Aug 22-Oct 4 (week-ends)and including Friday, October 2nd
Highlights include: week-end themes, live entertainment, artisan booths, food & drink

Highlights include: midway, grandstand entertainment, exhibit halls & food of all kinds on a stick
